Welcome to RTF Horses!

RTF Horses is located just south of Weatherford, TX off highway 171. RTF Horses has been breeding, producing, and training quality barrel and performance horses since 2005.

Our main focus at RTF Horses is to produce sound-minded horses with the physical necessities needed to excel as performance horses, specializing in barrel racers. Most of our prospects are by our very own stallion Stoli My Heart, son of 2001 All American Derby winner and racing World Champion 3 year old, Stoli and out of proven producer Streakin to Music.

We want to make a few announcements with the new year ahead of us. We started RTF Running Horses in 2007 & have learned from the seats of our pants; how to prove a well bred stallion, finding the right people to support us, find the right programs, reach the right people & all things that come with running a breeding program as well as raising athletes to their fullest potential. For Rick & myself it is a true passion & love. We are thrilled for what we have finally put in place to be what we feel is the best for ourselves, our customers, & most importantly our horses. Stoli My Heart is producing some amazing offspring coming of futurity/derby age - we are keeping track of each & every single one of them to see what happens. Im A Royal Design
"Hammer"

We are also thrilled to announce that Im A Royal Design, "Hammer" is ours, sound, healthy & eager to get back to what he does best. He will remain ours & Tasha Welsh will be his new jockey & we couldn't be more blessed to have her.

In addition we have sorted out our training program stemming from the 6-7 broodmares we will be raising SMH babies with. Shelby Humphreys with Turning Point Performance Horses will be taking all of our 2 year olds & putting 30-60 days on them building a SOLID foundation so they are then ready for Tasha Welsh with Leading Barrel Horses to start hauling & getting them futurity ready. Tasha is an amazing hand getting one ready for futuirtys and started their career off right!

We will continue to have our horses for sale but are offering the option to have them longer & in a GREAT training program & have a more finished product for potential buyers. Tasha Welsh & Shelby Humphreys will also be working with any outside horses we may purchase as potential barrel racers.

As you all know, running a breeding & training program is not an easy task. We have had our many many downs but we are so very blessed for the "ups" & we just can't wait for what 2013 has in store for our program & our customers. We would like to send out a huge thank you to all of you who have supported us & stuck with us through the years.
